Welcome!

AIGSES is a graduate student group with a vested interest in the retention and support of American Indian students in science and engineering disciplines. We work to increase the presence of American Indian graduate students in science and engineering fields through recruitment and retention efforts including attending national conferences and maintainting contact with admitted students. We are committed to nurturing the building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional native values, while actively supporting student research exposure to the scientific community.

First Meeting

Our first meeting will be 4:30 PM, September 12, 2007 in 597 Barrows. This meeting will be in conjunction with the American Indian Graduate Student Association (AIGSA).

The AISES National Convention will take place in Phoenix, AZ November 1-3. Early registration ends Oct. 5.
